Laura is a unique combination of the Type-A personality and creative free-spirit. She is a casual, coffee-loving optimist. Friends know her as a neat freak, fitness fanatic, and if she could wear the same thing every day she totally would (who has time for such decisions?). "After hours" priorities are family-time and sitting down with a pen and paper (writing serves as a creative outlet - check out our blog!). Design obsessions include unusual chairs, fun tile, and original art that speaks to the soul.
Laura has a degree in Architecture from the University of Texas and worked for years as a manager in the high-tech industry. In 2004, she left corporate life to start her own business, and has since practiced as a contractor, architect, and interior designer. LBI projects have been published locally and nationally and have consistently earned awards in ASID competitions. Laura enjoys collaborating with other industry professionals and brings a broad range of expertise to projects across the country, from remodels and new construction to commercial and multi-family.
Travel-obsessed foodie, lover of beautiful cheese-plates, salsa dancer, friend, aspiring minimalist, ENFP, and mountain biker. She loves to nerd out on psychology and mindfulness. Casey values authenticity, connection, growth, wellness and humor.
Since joining the LBI Team in 2012, she has won awards and competitions for rug and furniture design. Her favorite part of the design process is high level conceptualization and translating those abstract ideas into a tangible experience. She does her best work when she can really connect with the client to tell their unique story in their space.
Alix was acquainted with the design world from birth, as her father was a custom furniture designer in New York City. She knew from a young age that Interior Design was her calling, and she graduated with her BS in Interior Design from the University of Texas at San Antonio. She spent her early career back in NYC and is now in Austin putting down roots. As a designer, she believes that a well-appointed home is critical to our happiness as humans, and design can influence our lives in ways we don't realize.
Alix is a foodie and loves animals and live music. She spends the weekends stand-up paddle boarding with friends at Lady Bird Lake.
Elissa has an Interior Design degree from Texas State University and, fun fact, is also a licensed cosmetologist. She is a foodie, movie fanatic, animal lover, and is passionate about sustainable design and the influence interiors can have on one’s life.
After hours, you can find Elissa on Lake Austin, exploring the city, or spending time with family, friends, and her pup.
Debbie has 20 years of experience as an interior design Business Manager – 10 of those with LBI. She manages all of the financial details such as expenses, receipts, insurance, taxes, and invoicing, and does it with a smile on her face.
Debbie spends her free time playing with grandchildren, caring for elderly parents, cooking, & playing bridge with friends.

She graduated from California State University with a BFA in Interior Architectural Design, and she enjoys the process of bringing visions to reality.
When not working on LBI projects, Anna enjoys time with family and discovering Austin. Favorite activities include checking out new eateries and concerts, and exploring the outdoors.
